Axminster Friends of Hospiscare serve up warming cuppas as wet weather hits their coffee morning takings

Freezing rain hit takings when the Friends of Hospiscare held a coffee morning in the Church Rooms at Axminster today (Thursday, March 21).

Although numbers were down the dedicated team of local volunteers were still kept busy in the kitchens, providing warming cuppas for those who braved the wet to attend.

A spokeswoman said that despite the disappointing turnout caused by the weather the money raised would help provide more useful funds for the charity’s important work.
