Abbeyfield Honiton residents brought wartime history to life for pupils from Honiton Community College.

The residents shared their memories of World War Two with the GCSE pupils, who were also able to take a look at some pictures, old newspapers and other items from that era.

They also enjoyed a taste of wartime life with a delicious meal of rabbit pie. The event was held to coincide with the 70th anniversary of D-Day.
