Washing machine fire in Dunkeswell

Three fire appliances mobilised.

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a washing machine fire in Dunkeswell this morning (Tuesday).

Two fire appliances from Honiton and one from Cullompton were mobilised to attend the incident in Rhododendron Drive at 8.17am.

On arrival fire crews confirmed there was a small fire involving a washing machine, which was out on arrival.

The washing machine was removed into the open and the cause is believed to be accidental.
