Woman treated for allergic reaction at Lyme Regis
A woman needed treatment after suffering an allergic reaction to a wasp sting at Lyme Regis yesterday (Monday).
The victim contacted coastguards at the seafront for help and was taken to the nearest chemist by an officer, where the problem was promptly treated by anti-histamines. She then returned to the harbour to be reunited with her husband.
