WEST Dorset residents are being called on to help with a spring clean of the area this April.

WEST Dorset residents are being called on to help with a spring clean of the area this April.

West Dorset District Council is joining forces with Keep Britain Tidy and will be offering plastic sacks and gloves to any groups or individuals who take part.

WDDC leader Robert Gould said: "West Dorset's Spring Clean Campaign sees many areas which need attention, receive a much needed clean and we hope that organisations w ill be just as supportive this year.

"This is a great opportunity to clean-up those eyesore areas, particularly in places that the council is not expecte to clean."
