HONITON woman and West End star Anna Blake has joined Lymelights Theatre School, which has relocated from Feniton to Honiton.

The school, which teaches six to 16-year-olds on a Saturday during term time, is delighted to have attracted Anna, who trained in London at The Italia Conti Academy of Performing Arts.

She has taken stage roles in Les Miserable, Fame, Grease and many other musicals.

Lymelights' director and principal Greg Gibbs said: "We consider ourselves very lucky to have Anna on board. We are looking forward to rehearsing our new show, The Sound of Musicals, with her.

"The show will be performed in a local theatre this year.

"We are looking for more youngsters to join us for this very exciting show.

"We will be doing some of the old time favourites from the West End theatres.

"We are also in the midst of starting a younger group for children aged two to seven."
