The Deer Park Country House Hotel, near Honiton, has been named in the Sunday Times’ Ultimate 100 British Hotels Guide 2015.
The hotel was amongst six others in Devon to be showcased in the guide.
Mark Godfrey, managing director at Deer Park, said: “I nearly fell off my chair when I saw the Deer Park was included. It really is the highest accolade we could be given - a tiptop stamp of recognition for all the brilliant things we do here at the hotel.”
This year, Deer Park launched Devon’s first luxury thatched treehouse.
The hotel says the treehouse boasts ‘stunning views’ overlooking acres of ‘beautiful gardens and woodland’.
