Saturday, not Sunday?
In Your Letters of January 26, John Breckon admonishes those who want to open Honiton’s shops on a Sunday by quoting from The Book of Exodus; “Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it Holy.”
He should know that God was speaking to the Jews, for whom Saturday, not Sunday, is the Sabbath day.
