I found, after coming home from a walk in town, that near the entrance in West Walk in Seaton, very important undercover seating has been removed. This is as a result of showers being added to the lavatories I assume.
I found, after coming home from a walk in town, that near the entrance in West Walk in Seaton, very important undercover seating has been removed. This is as a result of showers being added to the lavatories - I assume. Everyone needs to put in for planning for a change of use.(1) Who exactly is responsible for these sweeping changes, concerning thousands of the general public in this town? Lack of communication again, leads to supposition, confusion, frustration and anger.(2) Why haven't Seaton people been consulted? I have not seen any planning permission notices put up in the prior weeks leading up to the change of use in The Esplanade. I urge EDDC to not 'go to ground', but answer some vital questions.(3) Are we correct in assuming that the provision of the showers in the same place is for cyclists, coming in from the still non-existant 'cycle route'? Well, personally, I have sold my bike, after it rusted for 10 years, waiting to cycle a decent length up it.(4) The big question is, are those undercover seats going to be replaced or covered with a shelter? It defies comprehension, leaving people in the dark about everything, while we continue to pay their wages through our rates.Marion Andrews Seaton
