Where there’s a will, there’s a way

So, East Devon District Council is compelled to accept the high wages forced on them by national rules?

Luckily, I can see a way round this.

Staff could voluntarily give back some of the money!

We also have pensions which are decided nationally.

Unfortunately, for us, we are forced to pay for all the council's requirements, which seem to grow greater each year.

To show solidarity with all local pensioners, perhaps all extra monies required this year could be donated by the high earners on the council, since national rules do not allow it to be taken off at source?

There is always a way if you really want to do it!
