I DO not understand why the Boundary Committee are considering the reorganisation of our local councils. The principle of "let's have another reorganisation" to solve supposed problems has been dumped by all effective and practical companies in the private sector so why is it being discussed? All but one council (Torridge) have been awarded at least a "good" rating by the Audit Commission, so why a change?I suggest that the Boundary Committee move to other areas where councils perform less well than Devon.Michael PotterLower MeadWest Hill
