Visitors to Seaton Wetlands can enjoy the grassy views of the wildlife spot thanks to a donation from the town’s WI.
To mark its 100th anniversary, Seaton WI has donated a bench to look over the wildlife garden, as many members enjoy looking out over the spot. The bench was crafted by East Devon District Council Countryside rangers using wood sourced from Holyford Woods.
WI president Denise England said: “We all enjoy the Seaton Wetlands, whether for walking, wildlife spotting or as a place to take visitors for the range of events the Countryside team put on. We’re delighted to see our bench installed and the Countryside rangers have created something very fitting with the Seaton Wetlands environment.”
