A lucky winner has received an early Christmas gift - a trolley dash worth £200.
The winning ticket, number 24, for the Honiton Christmas Lights Appeal trolley dash was drawn at the Co-operative store in Lace Walk last Saturday.
Shopper Mary Horder did the honours - drawing the lucky ticket number with town crier Dave Retter, who gave a special cry prior to the draw.
Go Festive – Honiton’s Christmas lights committee, has teamed up with the Co-operative in Honiton to hold the trolley dash event, which will take place on Saturday (October 18), in a bid to boost funds for a festive lights display in the town.
Anyone interested in helping with fundraising or making a donation towards the festive lights display is urged to call David Foster on 01404 45106 or email davidofhoniton@yahoo.co.uk
