Woman airlifted to hospital after getting stuck between caravan and wall

The incident happened at 6.35pm at Hanger Farm, in Broadhembury, on Tuesday, August 25.

A woman was taken to hospital after becoming stuck between a caravan and a wall.

The incident happened at 6.35pn at Hanger Farm, in Broadhembury, on Tuesday, August 25.

Two fire engines from Honiton and a heavy rescue vehicle from Exeter were sent to the scene.

Upon arrival, crews confirmed that the lady had obtained leg injuries and was no longer physically trapped by the caravan.

The caravan was stabilised, while on-scene paramedics assisted with the casualty.

The woman was taken to hospital by air ambulance.
