Firefighters called to the scene in Honiton.
A woman and two-year-old child in Honiton had to be rescued by firefighters after becoming trapped in a bedroom.
The incident occurred at Queen Street at 7.16am this morning (Tuesday) and a fire appliance from Honiton was called to the scene.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “On arrival the crew gained access to the bedroom through a rear window using small tools and a short extension ladder and freed the adult and child.”
