Firefighters used hydraulic rescue equipment and small tools to free the victims
FIREFIGHTERS had to free a woman and two children from their car following an accident near Axminster yesterday (Sunday).
The crash, involving two vehicles, happened at Waggs Plot, at around 10.50am.
Appliances from Axminster and Colyton attended and found the three victims injured and unable to move out of their car.
Crews released them using hydraulic rescue equipment and small tools. The casualties were then taken to hospital by land ambulance. Their condition is not yet known.
No one in the second vehicle was reported hurt.
