Woman hurt in Kilmington crash

Firefighters from Axminster and Colyton helped to release the casualty.

A woman was taken to hospital after a two vehicle collision at Kilmington on Good Friday.

One fire appliance from Axminster and another from Colyton were called to the scene, at around 5pm.

On arrival crews discovered a woman casualty was still in her vehicle, although not physically trapped.

Crews used a tirfor winch and small tools to release the casualty who was then taken to hospital via land ambulance.
