Extent of victim’s injuries currently not known

A woman pedestrian is believed to have suffered a head injury after a lorry dislodged scaffolding outside a shop in the centre of Axminster today (Thursday, June 25).

The incident happened at Trinity House Home-in-Style store in Victoria Place at around lunchtime and the victim was taken to hospital. The extent of her injuries is not currently known.
