Emergency services scrambled at Lyme Regis to help ‘drunken’ swimmer
Emergency services were scrambled after a 999 call was received reporting an apparently drunken woman in the water at Lyme Regis in the early hours of Friday.
Lyme Regis Coastguard rescue officers, Dorset Police and the Ambulance service were tasked. The woman was assisted out of the water and taken home by husband and passers by.
