Woman trapped after Colyford crash

Firefighters free victim after her vehicle collides with a tree

Firefighters were called to release a woman trapped in a car which collided with a tree on the A3052 at Colyford on Saturday evening.

Crews from Axminster and Colyton attended the scene and used hydraulic cutting equipment to free the victim who was taken to hospital by land ambulance.

Police and Paramedics also attended the accident which happened at around 6pm.
