A RUMOUR that East Devon District Council is to implement a dog control order, requiring dogs to be kept on leads at the Glen from April 1, is untrue.The authority says consultation results will be discussed by the council's corporate overview committee before any recommendations are sent to the council's executive board for ratification.Any new dog control orders will be advertised, to ensure residents are aware of the regulations.But dog owners in Honiton are to organise a public meeting and want support.
