The content of lessons ranges from formal classwork to projects, from the study of text and library books to using the internet, from discussion and investigation to practical sessions, fieldwork and an extensive programme of visits. This wide range of approaches to learning, combined with small classes, high quality facilities and state of the art resources means all children have a host of opportunities in which to flourish. Pupils are encouraged to explore their own ideas, to plan and research individually and as part of a team, and to present findings in a variety of media.
To complement learning, a wide range of after-school clubs, tea and breakfast provision, regular holiday activity camps and an extensive network of daily minibuses combine to offer an impressive package of 'wrap-around care'.
