Seaton, Beer and District Branch of the RNLI is planning another ‘yellow wellies day’ to support the charity’s Mayday Appeal next month.

The team will be at Seaton Tesco on Friday, May 5, from 9.30am to 5.30pm.

The yellow theme is a nod to the distinctive footwear worn by the charity’s volunteer lifeboat crew members.

Children and adults can take part in a ‘colour-in-a-welly’ poster competition, with prizes for the winners. People can also take along their own drawing, painting or collage or a Wellington boot on the day.

Entrants can obtain a copy of the poster by emailing secretary Wendy Cummins at wac500@hotmail.co.uk or calling in to Tesco during the day.
