First ‘Have Your Say’ surgery of the year hears concerns about boy racers and anti social behaviour

DOG fouling and boy racers were amongst the main complaints when police and councillors held their latest “Have Your Say” surgery at Seaton.

Around 20 residents went along to meet Police and Community Support Officers Chris Bolsover and Mike McGauley, along with town councillors Gaynor Sedgwick and Jim Pigott, East Devon District Council animal warden Amanda Lindfield and Brian Hoare, of the county highways department.

Main concerns included vehicles in the pedestrian area in the town centre, anti-social driving in the Underfleet and Harbour Road, speeding at various locations, anti-social behaviour in the town, dog fouling and dogs being off their lead.

The next Have Your Say Surgery in Seaton will be on Monday February 27 at 10 AM.

Anyone with concerns about animals or dog fouling in Seaton, should call the district council on 01395 517456.
