You are not seeing double

Spectacles donated by you to Vision Aid fill two boxes at Honiton opticians.
We asked you to take your old spectacles to Bill and Taylor Opticians in Honiton and, in three months, over 300 pairs of glasses have been donated to help transform the lives of people living in the poorest countries in the world.
Your glasses are still needed, but charity Vision Aid will now start to distribute the spectacles collected so far and ensure education and employment is not out of reach for those with poor eyesight.
Without glasses, many find daily living difficult and dangerous.
But, thanks to you, the charity’s teams of volunteer optometrists and dispensing opticians, who help educate and train local community workers in eye care skills and set up clinics, will now be able to screen a large number of patients and provide appropriate spectacles.
Millions of people in the developing world are still in need of a pair of spectacles to live an ordinary life and you can continue to help them by dropping in your old spectacles at Bill and Taylor Opticians, 120 High Street, Honiton.
