Big breakfast fundraiser at Axminster Guildhall is a sizzling success
A steady stream of hungry customers enjoyed a hearty breakfast at Axminster Guildhall on Easter Monday – thanks to the town’s young farmers’ club.
Members manned the kitchens and waited on tables, serving up a variety of tasty dishes - including the always-popular full English, together with cereals, toast and a healthy fruit option.
The event was held in aid of the club’s chosen charity of the year – the Marie Curie Cancer Care - and some 240 breakfasts were served by closing time, raising a magnificent £1,450 for the charity.
