Young Honiton Beaver Scouts celebrate achieving top award

Youngsters from Honiton's Jose Beavers have received certificates for achieving the top award for Beaver Scouts.

Jessica Farnes, Andrew Beckett, Lewen Adcock, Zach Harries, Thomas Kent, Charlie Hardy, Oscar Gosling, Elodie Rundle and Ben Miller were presented with their certificates by Honiton mayor, Councillor Henry Brown, and town crier Dave Retter at the Scout Hall, in Dowell Street.

The Chief Scout’s Bronze Award is the top award for Beaver Scouts.

It can only be achieved by showing that the Beaver Scouts have made friends, explored the outdoors, learnt about the world and completed six Beaver Scout Challenge Badges and four Activity Badges.
