New Seaton group raises 173 for Children in Need
The newly formed Seaton Young Leaders group staged its first fund raising event - and collected 173.59 for the BBC Children in Need appeal.
Team members coordinated and promoted Pudsey coin collections in the town hall, Chris Byrne-Jones’s shop, Sweet Heaven and the fire station.
They also made Pudsey bear posters to advertise the event and organised two competitions, the prizes for which were donated by Tesco and Vicky Fisher, of Sweet Heaven.
The young leaders’ next fund-raising event will be at the Seaton and District Lions’ Christmas Table Top sale on Saturday December 15, from 10am until noon in the town hall where they will be selling nearly new toys. Photo by Ian Barradale.
