Axminster Town 2nds continued their imperious form in Division 2 East of the Devon and Exeter League after handing out a 7-0 demolition of Pinhoe.
Ottery St Mary 2nds are 15 points behind in second place but they do have four games in hand, and kept up a semblance of pressure on the Tigers with a 5-1 victory over Feniton.
While the Tigers have no game this weekend, the Otters can make up some ground at Millwey Rise. Axminster are due to host Ottery in a key game on May 8.
Toby Pike and Billy Sheahan scored the goals in a 2-1 win for Chard Town Reserves at Kentisbeare in the Premier Division East.
In Division 1 East, there was a contrast in entertainment, as Clyst Valley defeated Otterton 4-3 in a thrilling game, while Lympstone and Dunkeswell played out a goalless draw.
