There were clear one-two-three placings in the Winter League played on the 16-hole layout, as all three bettered par in testing conditions, writes Richard Jackman.
Roger Turner has had a couple of close second places recently, but this time he went one better as he scored emphatically on all holes and romped home with 37 points, helped by three birdies in his round.
Denis McCallum had several three-pointer holes as he improved steadily to secure a well-earned second place with 36.
A very consistent round from ‘Ted’ Scott saw him take third spot with 35 points.
