In the latest round of matches in the Whimple and District Darts League leaders Tally Ho’s duly chalked up a 10th win in as many outings with victory over Voluntears.
The beaten side are the nearest challengers to the runaway leaders and did win 11 of the 23 legs that were played in a close contest that Tally Ho’s won 5-4.
The match served up some superb darts with 180s scored by Dave Witt (twice), Bernie Norrish and Pete Farmer for the table toppers.
Kings Aces, who have played fewer games than anyone else so far, played their seventh match this term and bagged a fourth win with a 5-4 success at home to Thirst Farmer.
New Inn A picked up their second win, a 7-2 victory over A2Z’s who were beaten for the ninth time in as many matches this league season.
