There was a large turnout of seniors on Friday for the second round of the Winter Eclectic competition, writes Liz Rogers.
In cold, but sunny conditions and with temporary greens in play, scoring was difficult.
Vic Wood triumphed in Division One with 36 points, followed by Barry Rogers and Roger Matthews, both on 35, but separated by countback and fourth place went to John Frith with 34 points.
In Division Two the scores matched exactly those in Division One. Mike Delaney topped the list with 36 points with John Fleetwood and Bob Cockett second and third respectively on 35. Phil Faulkner brought up the rear on 34.
There were four twos; Vic Wood on the second and Alex Neil, Ron Graham and Bob Cleal, who all bagged twos on the 12th.
