Honiton Tuesday mixed group played their annual competition a treble six format for the Geoff and Sheila Banks Trophy, writes John Pawley.
It proved to be a mighty close competition with the eventual winners determined by countback.
It was Rosemary Whiteley and John Frith who took the honours, edging Cherry Leill and Charlie Doherty into the runners-up berth after both pairs scored 38 points.
Third were Hilda Hoepelman and Keith Portlock 377 points, with Jan Portlock and John Northover on 34 points.
