By competing in the Exeter University Aquathlon, which was the last in the Exeter Tri Club Series, AVR duo Jonathan and Ethan Day stepped up from Novice to Sprint grade; a 600m Pool Swim followed by a three mile run around the University campus, writes Dave Mutter.
The swim was in the University’s outdoor pool which was surprisingly warm for the cold morning.
Ethan swam well and exited the pool with Jon five lengths behind. Ethan was first to finish, 26th out of 61 with a swim time of 13:19 and run time 20:25 so 33:44 overall. Jonathan lagged behind coming 34th with a swim time of 13:57, run time 21:51 overall 35:48.
Many thanks, to Pure Endurance Triathletes for all their help and training and also thanks to Exeter Tri Club for a Fantastic Aquathlon Series of four events.
