Central City 0, Honiton Harriers 2 Honiton Harriers Under-9s deservedly banked the points after a fine all-round performance.
The opening goal came about after a slick passing move that ended with Liam Osborne thumping the ball home.
After the break the Exeter-based side attempted top push Harriers back, but they were unable to breach a most effective and disciplined back line. At the other end of the pitch it was Osborne who struck again to make sure of another fine win for his side.
Harriers’ boss Garry Osborne said: “I am so proud how, after a long lay-off with the weather, just how well the team played. Each one of the players was amazing. It was comfortably our best all-round performance of the season against two really good teams. The whole team got Man of the Match for a fine all-round team effort.”
