It’s been an enjoyable season so far for Honiton’s Devils Under10s with all its squad contributing in many excellent performances, writes Warren Matthews.
All credit must go to their manager Sean Brown in his first season in control. His well structured training sessions and good coaching methods have been reflected in his team’s performances.
Their most recent match was comfortable victory over Axminster. Brown was particularly pleased with his team’s focused display and added it was great to see the goals spread out amongst most of the players. Amongst the scorers were Sam, Hayden, Zac, River, Ewan, Dom and Connor Brown. Captain for the day Luke Matthews was man of the match. Credit must also go to Joe Evans in goal.
With the new year upon us the team has already completed most of its league fixtures and can be confident of further improvement if they continue to show commitment and also follow their manager’s advice.
