On a blustery late October Friday the Axe Cliff November Medal event attracted a field of 32 seniors, writes Janet Dack.
Only one player matched the strict par of 70 nett in these difficult conditions and that was the winner Neil Moorcraft (21).
A score of 73 nett was the next best score and that was carded by Mike Tomes (16) for second place.
In third on 74 nett, a further shot behind, was Alan Vincent (17).
There were two two’s from Terry Jessup and Chris Walker.
