The Windwhistle Motor Club based Chard held their annual Summer Cup Car Trial at Boshill in East Devon.
Club members from around the area along with members of the Devon Austin Seven Club took part in the trial.
The challenge is to negotiate a series of pegged out tight twisting routes on hills and slopes without hitting any of the pegs, the competitor who completes the set challenges with the fewest penalties for hitting any of the pegs is the winner.
The ultimate winner of the Summer Cup was David Robinson from Martock who completed the event in a Scimitar SS with only two penalties incurred. Vehicles ranging from specialist trial cars to everyday road cars of various makes and ages competed on this fun event.
