Lily Collier, 16, of Summerleaze Farm, Kilmington and member of the Lamberts Castle Riding Club won the Area 12 qualifier for the Royal Windsor Horse Show Novice Dressage Championship 2013, Junior section at the Conquest Centre near Taunton on Sunday.
She was riding Donizetti, a locally bred five-year-old horse owned by Vicki Young of Kilmington.
The horse was bred by Mark Olof of Hawkchurch and has been owned and trained by Vicki Young for the last 18 months. Collier and Donizetti also won the preliminary round of the Dengie Pony Club Novice Dressage Competition.
