Honiton’s weather enforced inactivity at Upottery meant they could only add six points to their tally.
That meant they slipped a place in the E Division table after Filleigh landed a big win at Kentisbeare to take over in second spot.
This weekend Kev Kelly’s side is the short trip to a rapidly improving Kilmington side.
It proved to be a frustrating day all-round for Honiton as the club’s second eleven were without a game being the odd side out nine terms of the odd number of sides competing in the D Division East 2nd XI.
Like the first team, Honiton II engage in an East Devon derby this weekend with the visit of table topping Whimple II.
