It has been a good week for both teams in the over 60s men’s triples league as they have secured their positions in Divisions 2 and 4 for another season.
The Hawks defeated Exonia B by 41-35. The winning rinks were J Livings, J Skinner and K Lovering 19-16 and P Eels, A Murdoch and P Bright 22-19. Sadly, the Falcons lost on both rinks to Crediton B by 26-46.
The mixed team had two good results winning away at Topsham by 71-61. The winning rinks were AN Other, A Coyne and A Kury 21-16 and J Hoffman, P Bright and G Phillips 19-15. They also entertained Brixham St Mary at home and won by 112-82. The winning rinks were R Hoffman, A Smith and K Lovering 25-11, J Hoffman, J Smith and R Lovering 18-8, N Bright, P Bright and A Kury 21-15 and D Bowden and G Phillips 21-20.
