Feniton Ladies won theirTriple League match against visiting Morchard Bishop by 41-35. The winning rinks were J Hoffman, V Murdoch and D Phillips 23-8 and J Smith, A Coyne and D Bowden 12-8.
In a mixed friendly match away against Honiton, Feniton won by 70-53. The winning rinks were R Hoffman, V Murdoch and K Lovering 27-8 and G O’Hara, J Smith, J Skinner and G Phillips 13-12.
The weekend was given over to the finals of the Club Competitions.
In the Men’s Singles Final, Brian Cann defeated Tony Kury by 21-11. In the Ladies Singles Final, Vanessa Murdoch defeated Di Phillips by 23-11. The Men’s Two Wood Final was won by Tony Kury who defeated Arthur Murdoch by 15-8.
Earlier, Arthur Murdoch had been involved in a fluctuating match against Alan Smith in the Handicap Final, losing by 22-18. In the Club Pairs Phil Eels and Brian Cann defeated Vanessa Murdoch and Paul Bright by 19-16.
