Ten members from Honiton Running Club made the trip to Dorset for the annual Studland Stampede seven-mile race. 

The race starts on Knoll Beach at Studland before crossing the road onto Studland Heath and towards the Studland Ferry. Runners have amazing views of Poole Harbour before the gruelling run back along Studland Beach to the finish. 

First back for the club was Howard Bidmead, finishing in 64th position in a time of 61m33s. Next and first Honiton lady, Rebecca Stevens in 130th position finishing in 68m6s. Next came Mark Newson and Clare Melbourne who ran together and finished in a time of 70m5s in 150th and 151 respectively.  

Other finishers were Simon Bates 173rd in 72m17s. Steve Selley 221st in 77m4s, Michelle Selley 223rd in 77m7s, Ella Churchill 270th in 82m42s, Claire Rouse 289th in 85m28s. Finally, Asilah Jarrald and Richard Kemp finished together in a time of 90mins and finished 325th and 326th.
