Congratulations to the ten Honiton Golf Club Juniors who have completed the Access Course and now move forward to gain a full WHS handicap.
The introduction of the Golf Access shortened-tee course at Honiton Golf Club in 2018 has proved a great success, increasing the junior membership and motivating participants to keep coming back to play more golf.
The on-course format is unique for beginners, where they can gain bands and certificates over 3, 6, and 9 holes, giving them a clear pathway to obtain a handicap and join the older juniors that play in interclub matches.
The Annual presentation night at Honiton Golf Club was well attended and there were over 60 trophies to be presented. Master of Ceremonies Adrian Cave kept the evening running smoothly and the top winners receiving multiple trophies were Ann Trayling, Ben Phillips and Andy Phillips. The evening ended with a buffet provided by Emma and her team.
