The Greensomes HaHa qualifying took place at Honiton Golf Club with over 30 teams setting out for the 16 qualifying spaces.
Rob Luscombe and Mark Reed returned a fine score of 42 points, followed by Jono Barker and Dan Garmin, and Dave Grimshaw and James Dawes.
The Seniors played their monthly stableford and third round of the winter eclectic. The strong winds didn’t deter Dave Lee or Peter Blake, winner and runner-up in Division 1 respectively, both of whom scored a creditable 38 points. They were chased to the podium by John Jackson on 36 and Ray Cavill on 35, with Tony Williams taking up the final prize-winning position on 34.
Division 2 was keenly contested, with three players on 36 points, David Silver (the eventual winner), Geoff Stone and David Goldring. David Rouse is leading the eclectic with an amazing nett 65 after two rounds, with seven to go.
