Honiton Bowlers G Richards, G Osborne and S Coles played a match against a team from Sidmouth in the National Men’s over 50’s Triples, winning (17 - 13), and they now progress to the next round.
Members of Chardstock Bowling Club visited Honiton to play a Mixed Friendly match. Chardstock were out-bowled by Honiton with a final score of (128 - 30). Top rink was P Palmer, K Gazzel, R Newbery, R Russell (48 - 5).
In the Mixed Friendly Triples match played at Honiton against Topsham, Honiton had a harder match, with Topsham winning (55- 47). Top Rink: B Maynard, M Granger, G Osborne (16 - 12)
The other Mixed Friendly Triples match played at home was against Budleigh with Honiton proving much too strong. The two teams for Honiton were A Armstrong, J Foxwell G Osborne and C Foxwell, T Armstrong and D Hawkins.
