After the Christmas break, bowlers from Honiton were happy to take to the green again.
In the Men’s Friendly match against Devon Presidents Honiton won (84 - 73). Top rink was W Heard, B Singleton, R Russell and G Osborne (24 - 13).
The other Friendly match the Men have played was a Triples match against Madiera, with Honiton winning (53 - 41). Top rink: D Young, R Maddox and T House (21 - 8).
Honiton Ladies have also been successful, winning through to the next round of the National Yetton competition, beating ladies from Taunton Deane (67 - 56), and now play Dolphin BC in the Quarter Finals.
Bowlers from Taunton Deane visited Honiton to play a Mixed Friendly match. Honiton won (67 - 56).
Top rink: V Lloyd, B Corsley, B Sherborne, with the skips position being shared between G Osborne and D Hawkins playing 9 ends each (28 - 8).
