Blue Flames Boxing Club travelled to Wales for their latest challenge in the ring and 12 year-old Jessy Heyburn represented the club, boxing against a very game girl coached by former world champion Gavin Rees of Pantside ABC.
Both girls wasted no time getting to it fast exchanges between them in all three rounds of a thoroughly entertaining and all-action contest. Heyburn caught the eye of the judges, landing the cleaner shots and using her footwork to move around the ring with confidence.
It was a well-matched bout and both girls gave everything they had. In the end, Heyburn won the bout on a unanimous decision and a great experience in her fledgling boxing career.
