Blue Flames Boxing Club hosted a superb home show with some fantastic performances throughout the event, which included clubs from all over the region.
In an event packed with fabulous fights, Tom Merrifield took the limelight in his first senior bout against a powerful boxer from Bodmin, earning a unanimous win in the fight of the night.
Over 30 bouts took place and the Blue Flames club said: “We would like to say a massive thank you to all of the officials, judges, refs, time keepers and doctors, as well as the attending clubs from Norton Radstock ABC , Blake ABC, Sydenham ABC, Lord Mountbatten, The Factory, Poseidon, Downend, Chard ABC, St Joseph’s, Sturminster, Fighters Republic, Cullompton, Pantside, Torbay, Wessex, Crewkerne, Yeovil, Sweat Box, Wath upon Dearne, St Just, Bideford, Kings and the Royal Marines.
“Also thanks to Wellsprings Leisure Centre, Cullens catering, the spectators, sponsors, parent helpers, Committee members, coaches and the boxers.”
