The score of the Men’s Friendly Triples match away at Madeira Bowls Club ended in an incredible, pulsating draw of 41 - 41. Top rink for Honiton in such a well-matched contest was B Cursley, J Mumford, T Williams (17 - 9).
In the Mixed Friendly match at home with Bovey Tracey, Honiton won (84 - 62). Top rink was J Hare, R Sennitt, D Hislop S Hiscocks (27 - 12).
And finally, when Honiton bowlers went to Exonia to play a Mixed Friendly match, Exonia proved the stronger team. winning (36 - 54). Top rink for Honiton was M Granger, A Willcox, J Sherwood.
